Chapter 7 - Basic Digital Back Operations

Turn the digital back off in one of the following ways:

When using a compact ﬂash and battery:

• Press and hold the On/Off button until the light turns orange. If a setting in the Setup menu has

been changed, the camera saves the new setting and then shuts down.

When using a digital magazine:

Ø Press the On/Off button.

When working in tethered mode:

Do one of the following:

• When not using a compact ﬂash card, on the desktop, right-click the compact ﬂash card and

select Move to Trash (Apple® Mac OS® X operating system) or Eject (Microsoft® Windows®

operating system), and then unplug the FireWire cable.

• If you are not using a compact ﬂash card, unplug the FireWire cable.
